“Cowichan Summer” Acrylic on 8″x10″ canvas ©2016 Rob Langille Art  During our summer pilgrimage across the vast landscape of Canada, we stopped in Duncan, on Vancouver Island to visit my cousin. In his backyard, my children walked into the rather tame Cowichan River. Gorgeous, clean water, rocks glistening in the fresh sun. 

Time to head east.  After realizing that the ferry we needed was gonna be tight, we needed to say a quick goodbye to Paul and Nicole, our gracious hosts.  We shot on to Nanaimo, but couldn’t find any squares (not that we needed any, the Buckeye bars Melissa sent with us were more than sufficient-yum-O)   Read More …
